Tonight as we were eating dinner, Derek and I chatted about something related to the possibility of me taking a job. Blake overheard and wondered how that was possible.
Blake: How is Mom gonna have a job when she works at home?
Derek: What do you mean she works at home? Just what does she DO?
Blake: That's all she does! Dad, she works ALL DAY LONG.
Score one for kids who notice.

See? I told you you are a good mother! Don't compromise that title for a few hours away from home. We eat a lot more hamburger-helper than steak, and it's so worth it.
Blake is a superstar!!
Aw, Blake. You just scored about 1000 cool points.
Thanks for noticing all the work moms do!
You're teaching that boy right!
Good for you both!
WOW!
Can Blake come to our house and teach a few lessons on observation... like Laundry Really Doesn't Do Itself and "Oh Look! The Maid Came and Scrubbed the Toilets Today!"
That would be great.
